Hardcore vocals style blend in beautifully with black-metal and results in a very interesting yet unusual musical eargasm. WOW! I came across some newer stuff and I walked away immediately and I made the big mistake not to check these older albums !! My bad, but I'm glad I saw the live album and decided to get this and "ghosts..."

The atmosphere of this album is fantastic. Makes you feel like you're knee-deep in the trenches drenched in mud, filth, sweat, and blood. Truly encapsulates the horrors of World War I, and the fact that the lyrics of some of the songs are taken from old war letters really adds to the authenticity. Favorite Track(s): Die Feuertaufe, Grabenlieder

Wow! This album is a massive kick to the balls! Love every second of it! The level of musical violence is incredible, but still there's some great melodies woven into the mayhem. If you're looking for really fast and take-no-prisoners BM but without sketchy political views, check this one out.
